Taylor Swift fans in Vienna — Polaroids

Taylor Swift fans in Vienna — Polaroids

I joined the crowd of beautiful, but sad, Swifties that gathered on Cornelia and Singer Streets in Vienna after the Taylor Swift concerts were cancelled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Here are a few of the polaroids I took ◡̈

Polaroids: Swifties in Vienna

And just a few shots I snapped on my Olympus Stylus with Lomochrome Purple 35mm film while at the rally.

35mm: Taylor Swift Fans in Vienna

I'm obsessed with these!

My Experience & Junk Journal Spreads

I had just arrived in Munich, where I planned to spend 1 night before taking the train to Vienna. I walked about, grabbed a pizza, and had finished one collage spread, when I thought I'd do a meditation. Coming out of a 30 minute meditation, my phone had blown up. I saw a text from my sister that said "I'm so sorry the concert was cancelled I just saw" and I knew she would NEVER play like that.

Sure enough, all three concerts in Vienna were cancelled, and thankfully they foiled an ISIS terrorist attack.

The very second spread of my collage journal turned into this little funeral spread, which I really love a lot!

I was still going to make the 'SONY' say 'Stevie' on this one. And I thought about adding a 1 before the 3, but then I thought the 3 was perfect to represent the three shows.

My friend and I took the train from Munich to Vienna on Thursday, and had planned to stand outside the stadium on Thursday, and then attend the concert on Friday. We attended the meeting on Cornelia Street instead, and it was truly beautiful. I felt very in love with woman and girls and humanity when I left, and kinda sad.

But it was super sweet and cute to see all the signs and trees filled with friendship bracelets—and overall the effort that Vienna put into hosting Swifties the rest of the weekend. I've never moved through a more aware and considerate crowd. Even with so many people around you, you felt no aggression or energy of hostility—or even just masculinity. It was very interesting, a notable energy.

And what about the girl with the wedding dress inviting people to write their favorite lyric on it!? (See polaroid.) It was magical!

I still need to make a few more junk journal spreads for some of these great polaroids!
